The client engaged us to convert their in-person global sales training event to a virtual delivery whilst retaining the benefits and feel of a face-to-face meeting. The event featured live and pre-recorded presentations with slides, interactive polls, quizzes and workshops. Over 200 people attended the real-time online event from their home or office.

We built a bespoke interactive platform to facilitate the Q&As, polls, training games and workshops. There were breakout rooms where groups could discuss and debate the material for added learning retention. Upon completion, we provided insightful analytics reports which included the number of attendees, their names and e-mail addresses, engagement time, and any questions and comments that each participant contributed.

Working with our partners in the MEDtalks Group, we created branded studio backdrops in the UK and the Netherlands. Using a live-link and a TV style “live switcher” the trainers communicated with one another and the participants as if they were in the same space. The bespoke platform incorporated the live broadcast, which was edited in real time, as well as polling questions and quizzes, Q&A submissions, interactive training games, and links to additional downloadable content for further training.  We set up logins for all participants to guarantee privacy and compliance and all filming was conducted under stringent COVID restrictions to ensure the safety of everyone present.

For the pre-records, we scheduled, remotely recorded and edited 16 presenters from around the world. Each presenter had a pop-up background to ensure brand visibility and consistency across all videos.

Results & Deliverables

The client reported that since the experience was technically seamless and interactive, it was as good if not better than an in-person meeting and delivered at a fraction of the cost.

Analytics included; the number of registrants, viewing time per attendee and questions/answers submitted. We also recorded and edited the live broadcast from each day which took in over 18 hours of content over the 3-day session. The client was able to share this with their wider team to gain additional value from the event.
